Not that you're like in the band or anything haha but you seem knowledgable and I am dying in anticipation (even though Handwritten was not at all long ago)
it’ll probably be out summer 2014. Gaslight’s pretty steady in the usual 2 year pattern. As to what it will sound like, not sure why you’re asking me, but no Gaslight album has ever been far fetched but there is always progression. Even when they have said ‘it’ll be very different’ it’s not so different that it’s not still Gaslight. I have full trust in what Gaslight will do. They have never let me down.
I’m still savoring the 4 albums and 2 EP’s we have now. And goodness knows I don’t need any more Gaslight records to chase after right now. (But that 7” box set will be oh so sweet.)
No tumblr for the next 5 days at least. Got more important things to do like band practice, recording, and The Gaslight Anthem. Nikkolle, text me if anything interesting happens. (practice is at 10 and it’s an hour and a half drive, that’s why I’m up so early. And I’m still bringing them cookies and candy bars…they are spoiled I tell you!)

I just made a list of all BFals related vinyl (TGA, THC, TCM, Gospel Songs, etc, etc). A complete list written out on my whiteboard….from memory including every color of every release. I clearly have way too much time and effort invested in this man and his bands. I regret nothing.

The lead guitar on Here’s Looking At You Kid is what makes it so sad. So ya know…excellent work Mr. Rosa.
That lead line is great. I listen to the song just for that, especially live.
