I literally cannot stand when people call Laura Jane Grace of Against Me! by the wrong name and pronouns. It drives me crazy and I feel so bad for her because I know how much it hurts when people do that to me and she must get it all the time.
Yeah, I’m looking at you, Brian Fallon. Get it together.
Look, the interview in which Brian was talking about Laura and used the wrong pronouns was a while ago and he didn’t mean any harm. He was just confused, I’m sure. He has corrected himself now. So stop getting on him and deal with the people who keep calling her Tom Gabel with no remorse, ok?

To those who’re no longer fans of Against Me! because the singer, Laura Jane Grace is living her life the way she felt it should be lived, as a woman… You should be ashamed of yourselves. Against Me! is and always will be one of the greatest band to ever live. The fact that the person who was once a ‘he’ is now a ‘she’ changes nothing about the band. She is who she’s always been; it’s just that now she’s more comfortable sharing who she really is with the world.

I gotta say, my Facebook looks pretty cool. Two of the very few pictures of me that are decent and they’re with some of my favorite people.
I had the cover photo as my profile picture (cropped down to me and Brian) and I said I’d never change it. Then the picture with Laura was good so I had to use that one but now I can have Dave in the photo since it’s a cover!!!

Yesterday I was talking to my mom and she mentioned my new Facebook profile picture (me with Laura Jane Grace). She was just like “now who is the girl in your photo?” and one I explained it she only asked “Is she really that much taller than you?”. I feel like that was a big success, no drama, and no awkward conversation. As far as she’s concerned Laura is Laura and that’s it. Good to know.

So I stumbled upon this app and I’m pretty sure it is the greatest thing I have ever put on my iPhone.
I am still in love with this. The other night, my roommate said “It would be so cute if someone took a picture of Brian Fallon but put a cat head on it.” I told her about this. She loved it. And I may have printed out the picture of cat Brian and put it on my wall. Oh, yes, I did.
